Safety
LS Energy Services USA has an unwavering commitment to the safety of our employees, our clients and the communities we serve.
To demonstrate our level of commitment to safety, every LS Energy Services
employee has the right to stop work, at any time, if they observe a worksite
condition that appears unsafe, poses an environmental risk or does not meet
LS Energy Services standards of quality.

What our safety numbers mean
TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate) measures OSHA-recordable injuries and illnesses per 200,000 hours worked, which is roughly 100 full-time workers for a year. A TRIR of 0.00 means no recordable incidents during the period.
EMR (Experience Modification Rate) is used by insurers to compare a company's workers' compensation claims history with others in the same industry. An EMR of 1.0 is the industry baseline, so an EMR of 0.67 reflects a claims history well below average.
Stop work authority
Every LS Energy Services USA employee has the right to stop work at any time if they see a condition that appears unsafe, poses an environmental risk or does not meet our quality standards. Stopping work is expected and supported, not penalized.
Leadership and accountability
Our Director of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs is responsible for designing, implementing and coordinating all HSE programs across the company and for technical direction on HSE decisions. Meet our leadership team.
Safety across every service
The same commitment applies whether our crews are building a gathering line, completing an integrity repair or working inside an operating refinery. Learn more about our energy construction services or read about LS Energy Services USA.
